Sofia obtained graduated from the school of law of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano  in April 2024, graduating summa cum laude. Her thesis “Environmental investment disputes: the role of investment arbitration in protecting the environment and hindering climate change” discusses the protection of environmental law in the context of investment arbitration.

Sofia spent a semester at the University of Vienna as part of the Erasmus program. She also took part in the 30th edition of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, and she coached the team of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano in the following edition.
